Celanese Corporation, a leading global chemical company, will increase list and off-list selling prices for acetic acid (all grades), butyl acetate, ethyl acetate and dimethylamine effective July 15, 2009, or as contracts allow. The company will increase prices of acetic acid (all grades) by US$0.025/LB in USA, Canada and Mexico; by US$50/MT in Central America, South America and Asia.
Further, the company will up price for butyl acetate and ethyl acetate in Europe by EUR 50/ton. The price of dimethylamine will increase by US$0.04/LB in USA, Canada and Mexico.
