Plastindia Foundation, India's apex plastics association, has a newly elected team headed by Mr. Arvind Mehta as President, Mr. Amar Seth as Vice President and Mr. Hasmukh Patel as Treasurer. The team will function for the next three years uptil Plastindia 2009. Profile Of Mr. Arvind M. Mehta Mr. Arvind M. Mehta is a highly successful entrepreneur who is the Managing Director of Welset Plast Extrusions Pvt. Ltd. His company has a manufacturing unit at Silvasa and is one of the front-rank leading manufacturers and exporters of PVC based Medical Compound Ethylene Master Batches. He has been associated in the development of the Indian Plastics Industry and Trade for about 4 decades. He is widely traveled and has conducted and attended various seminars, conferences and exhibitions at national and international level. He has published authentic report on his visit to various countries like Germany, China and other countries, which became an eye opener to the Indian Plastic Industry to understand the developments taking place in various countries.
