Abu Dhabi Polymers Park-world's largest project to provide value added services to plastics converters in the Middle East region-recently broke ground on the first industrial plot in Mussafah ICADIII. Bonar Emirates Technical Yarns LLC, an artificial glass yarn manufacturing JV worth US$25 mln inked between Abu Dhabi Basic Industries Corporation (ADBIC) and Low & Bonar PLC will be the first factory in the polymer park. Abu Dhabi Polymers Park, with a total area of 4.5km2 is projected to have a total 1 mln mtpa polymer conversion capacity.
