Naphtha crack in Asia rose by 3% vs Brent crude to US$162.20/ton at the close of last week amid strong gasoline demand. This is its highest since Jan. 13- six months ago.
"Naphtha demand is very strong now, with a portion going into gasoline blending. In addition, prices of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) are still so high," a North Asian trader said.
