The Perstorp Group, a world leader in specialty chemicals, will be presenting new plastic raw materials at K 2013. Considerable investments have been made to ensure we deliver new products that address key issues related to plastic materials, such as sustainability and product safety. Having identified these major global issues and trends related to plastics that affect society Perstorp set out to provide focused and targeted solutions. The result is a clean sweep of new innovative products. Products that signal both our growing confidence in our plastic materials offer and a desire to provide sustainable and safer alternatives within the plastic materials segments. Specifically Perstorp will be showcasing new products for biodegradable plastics, carbon source for intumescent flame-retardants, non-phthalate plasticizers for sensitive applications and new high heat resistant transparent thermoplastic co-polyesters for plastic packaging and durable applications.
The clear message from Perstorp is that we are back at K Fair with a bang. As Håkan Björnberg, Market Development Director says: “We will be showcasing not one but four new product families for plastic materials. The substantial investments in these new innovative products are driven by Perstorp’s passion for greater sustainability and improved chemical safety. This includes focusing on the reduction of waste and dealing with safer plastics.”
