Styrene Monomer prices that have dipped to hover around the 1500 dollar mark continue to exert pressures on polystyrene prices in Asia. Being offered at US$1700/MT levels, PS prices have headed south once again on a pessimistic market outlook. Downstream demand is unenthusiastic in anticipation of a further price adjustment as feedstock costs are falling.
