Dow Europe announces price increase for polyethylene resins

26-Feb-07
With effect from March 1, 2007, or as contract terms allow, Dow plans to increase prices in Europe by 60 Euros per metric ton for all grades of its low density polyethylene (LDPE) resins and high density polyethylene (HDPE) resins, DOWLEX ™ polyethylene resins, ATTANE ™ ultra low density polyethylene (ULDPE) copolymers, ELITE ™ enhanced polyethylene resins and ASPUN ™ fiber grade resins. This hike can be attributed to a robust demand for polyethylene resins coupled with high feedstock and energy costs.
