Dow Europe GmbH announced to increase prices by EUR 50 per metric ton for all grades of its low-density polyethylene (LDPE), linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) and high-density polyethylene (HDPE) resins effective May 1, 2009 or as contracts allow. The price rise will be applicable across the European, Middle Eastern, African and Indian regions citing continued high raw materials costs as the reason.
