Effective June 24, 2009, or as contract terms allow, Dow Europe GmbH will increase prices for its Polycarbonate, Polycarbonate Compounds and Polycarbonate Blends by EUR 200/ metric ton across the European, Middle Eastern, African and Indian regions. The company announced that price hike is the result of decreasing margins for the above products due to increase in raw material and energy costs.
