Global polyester films joint venture, DuPont-Teijin Films U.S. Limited Partnership has recently announced plans to cease operation of its polyester film line in Circleville, Ohio by Jan 31, 2009. The reasons cited for this action include a drastic decline in U.S. industrial production, coupled with by inventory reductions across most supply chains, leading to ailing polyester film demand across the U.S. market.
