Petrochemical producer Ducor is expected to lift its force majeure on polypropylene supplies in a few weeks, as per sources in Platts, upon arrival of spare parts arrive, likely in a few weeks. The company operates a single PP plant at Rozenburg, the Netherlands.
Ducor experienced a fault at one of three production lines in mid-July, which resulted in the force majeure. The plant is now running at full capacity following repairs and a successful restart in mid-August. The Rozenburg plant has a production capacity of 180,000 tpa of PP.
