Klöckner Pentaplast, one of world's leading manufacturers of plastic films for diverse markets, reportedly trimmed its workforce by 38 at its Gordonsville production plant in Virginia, US. As per the local media reports, the reduction in workforce was a cost reduction measure to stay in line with the declined product demand in the region. The Gordonsville plant, largest in Louisa County, was started by the German company thirty years ago. Klöckner Pentaplast also runs manufacturing plants in South America, Europe, Canada and Asia.
