Diamant Film Inc. has introduced its plasticizer-free and polystyrene-based Diamant film.
This environmentally friendly and recyclable food stretch film does not contain polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or chlorine and is said to adhere to virtually any food tray. The material is also said to have a good elastic recovery, reduced water vapor permeability and requires about 40% fewer materials for its production compared to materials used in similar applications. Additionally, the film's low sealing temperature enables savings in machine processing energy.
