European Union (EU) members are keen to invest in Malaysia's petrochemical industry especially in Pahang - where the prospects look bright. Pahang is the preferred investment destination because of the state’s early decision to have downstream activities in the petrochemical sector.
EU member states have a huge interest in the petrochemical industry and have joined up with Petronas to utilize Malaysia’s reources.
