Fujia Dahua’s integrated aromatics complex comes onstream

As part of China’s northeastern coastal region’s initial foray into industrialization, Fujia Dahua Petrochemical’s integrated aromatics complex has come on stream at Dalian. The facility, with capacity to process 2 mln tpa of naphtha has been built with an investment outlay of €470 mln. Capacities include 700,000 tpa of paraxylene, 350,000-40,000 tpa of toluene, 100,000 tpa of orthoxylene and other petrochemical feedstocks. The company is a joint venture between Dalian based fertiliser manufacturer Dahua Group Dalian Chemical Industry and Fujia.
