GE Plastics expects to double revenue in India by 2008

GE Plastics is reportedly planning to invest in new materials technologies, application development and infrastructure in India and hopes to double its revenue at Rs 10 billion (US$226 million) by 2008. India's projected emergence as the third largest global consumer of polymer technologies by 2010 is said to be the driver for this decision. India's booming automotive, building and construction and telecom sectors are opening up the opportunities for engineering thermoplastics materials solutions of the Company.
