Haldia Petrochemicals’ 75 day shutdown for project Supermax delayed to end of month

Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd’s 75 day total plant shutdown for capacity expansion has been delayed to end of month. Presence of naphtha stockpiles in the tanks, that the company looks to depleting before the shutdown, has causes the delay. Haldia will shut its 520,000 tpa naphtha cracker for implementation of project Supermax to raise capacity by about 30%.
