Hamworthy to build ethylene reliquefaction systems carriers in Japan

Hamworthy Plc., which manufactures marine fluid handling systems for shipping and offshore oil and gas facilities has been awarded a contract to supply LPG reliquefaction systems on four Dual Fuel Diesel Electric powered ships and a contract for ethylene reliquefaction systems for two liquefied ethylene gas carriers in Japan. The combined value of the contract is slated to be 13 mln pounds and the liquefied ethylene gas equipment is expected to be complete by June 2010.
