Huntsman's plant in Port Neches, Texas, continues to operate at reduced rates, with a source in Platts adding that the 766,000 m tpa MTBE unit will be a reduced rates for several weeks.
The plant has been running at reduced rates since September 20 due to a utility issue, spokeswoman Anne Knisely said, and that the plant team is working safely and diligently to bring the plant fully back online as soon as possible.
