Hurricane Matthew batters USA, NWE naphtha-gasoline cracks spike on demand

Northwest European gasoline cracks rose to near US$12 barrel at the end of the previous week as the Southeast of United States got battered by Hurricane Matthew and boosted demand for cargoes from Europe. Fuel shortages are expected in the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew. Around ten tankers have been booked in recent days to load gasoline in Europe to go on transatlantic journeys, according to shipping data, as per Reuters.
