Japan's Idemitsu Kosan Co hass restarted the 687,000 tpa naphtha cracker at its Tokuyama plant in western Japan over the past weekend after an unplanned shutdown, as per Reuters. The cracker had been shut since late October due to an unspecified problem during the start-up process following scheduled maintenance.
