Indian Institute of Packaging to Inaugurate new Academic Block and Hostels at Mumbai Center

Shri Suresh Prabhu, Hon’ble Union Minister for Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India will inaugurate the newly constructed Academic Block and Students Hostel at Indian Institute of Packaging, Mumbai on 29th September, 2018 (Saturday). The Hon'ble minister will be Chief Guest for The Annual Convocation for 32nd batch of PGDP and 22nd Batch of DEP students of IIP to be held on the same day. He will also distribute the Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze medals to the meritorious students of PGDP.

Shri C.R.Chaudhary, Hon’ble Minister of State for Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India will be present as Guest of Honour for the inaugural function and also for annual convocation program. Shri Sunil Kumar, IAS, Additional Secretary, DoC, MoCI, Govt. of India will also be present as Special Guest.

IIP will also organize PACK FEST 2018 during 27th to 29th September, 2018 where the students of 33rd batch as well as the 34th batch from all IIP centres will participate.

The 52nd Annual General Body meeting of the Institute and governing body meeting will also be held in the forenoon on the same day.
