Ineos is to invest £20 mln in new headquarters at its Grangemouth site as part of plans to create a "world class" petrochemical manufacturing hub. Plans include removal of empty buildings and decommissioned plants so plots can be made available to other businesses, for which demolition has commenced at the 1,700 acre site. The new business HQ and office accommodation is scheduled for completion in September 2016. It has been designed by Scottish firm Michael Laird Architects.
