Japan's naphtha imports for the petrochemical sector fell 4% in September 2010 vs September 2009. Imports of naphtha for ethylene production amounted to 1,807,215 kilolitres (1,253,424 tons) in September 2010, as per the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. Figures for September 2009 were 1,885,408 kl (1,296,827 tons) in September 2009 and 1,928,052 kl (1,337,242 tons) in August 2010.
