A 27% fall in July crude oil imports was seen in Taiwan, which imports over 99% of its crude oil needs. This fall can be attributed to reduced processing capacity caused by a fire at end of July, and subsequent shutdown at Formosa. Shipments slipped to 27.2 mln barrels last month.
