Japan-based Keiyo Ethylene which had shut a naphtha cracker owing to mechanical issues, has restarted the cracker. As per fibre2fashion, the cracker which was shut on April 30 due to mechanical issues has been restarted on May 9. Located in Ichihara, Chiba prefecture, Japan, the naphtha cracker has a production capacity of 740,000 tpa.
