27-Apr-21

With a view to target the aesthetic market, LG Chem has introduced new type of syringe, named ASIST-Y, with a non-slip material applied to the area the hand touches.

‘ASIST-Y’ is the first and only two-layer type syringe in Korea that has Elastomer* material applied to the finger flange and the plunger. It is designed to allow for more accurate and delicate procedures with the enhanced grip that significantly reduces the hand’s tiredness.

Also, the syringe’s scale is calibrated from 0.1cc to 0.05cc for even more precise fluid measuring.
LG Chem has applied for a design patent for the finger flange and plunger of syringe in over 38 Countries abroad including South Korea and so far, their applications have been granted from 6 countries: Italy, Spain, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Belarus, Chile.

The new product’s design is created based on customer feedback. Preliminary test prior to the launch of the new syringe show that it was effective in preventing slipping and reducing hand fatigue.
