Lucite International's Singapore based 120,000 tpa methyl methacrylate (MMA) unit that Foster Wheeler designed and built has started production ahead of schedule. The factory produces MMA using Lucite's Alpha technology, which Lucite claims saves 40%t on the cost of existing MMA production methods.
