Offers for March for Braskem polyethylene to the Andean countries (Peru, Colombia and Ecuador) are likely to increase at least US$50/mt and by at least US$100/mt for polypropylene, as per Platts.
In February, Braskem's PE offers to the Andean area were heard at US$1600/mt CFR for HDPE film and injection, US$1560/mt CFR for HDPE blow molding and LLDPE butene and at US$1580/mt CFR for LDPE film. In February, Brazilian PP offers to Peru and Ecuador were heard at US$1650/mt CFR for homo raffia, injection and film and at US$1700/mt CFR for co-polymer; and at US$1700/mt CFR for homo-polymer and US$1750/mt CFR for co-polymer to Colombia.
