A review meeting was conducted at Vishakhapatnam on compilation of issues for the draft master plan. The meeting, held at the Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA) office, focused on evolving excellent transport connectivity between the two port towns, as per The Hindu. Detailed discussions were held on the proposed 150 km express way of the PCPIR and its connectivity to the existing road network in the region. The technical studies taken up by the National Institute of Oceanography and Environment Protection Training and Research Institute for evaluating CRZ and environmental impact in the PCPIR area were also taken up for discussion.
