Asia's naphtha crack was at a two-session low of US$139.1/ton y because spot deals from South Korea were muted, as per Reuters. Taiwan's CPC was looking to buy 35,000 tons of full-range naphtha and another 35,000 tons of heavy naphtha for April 26 to May 20 arrival at Mailiao. It was unclear if it had managed to buy the cargoes although its tender stated that offers were to stay valid until April 2.
As for South Korea, a major importer of naphtha in Asia, most buyers in the country have completed buying cargoes for first-half May delivery in the last few weeks.
