All time high oil and feedstock prices recorded this summer led several chemical companies to announce price hikes. Dow Chemical also raised its products prices twice this year by 20% and 25%. Despite a sizeable plunge in oil prices since this summer, Dow Chemical does not plan to roll back it's recent across the board chemical price increases. One factor could be that transportation costs are likely to remain high while sales volumes have been good. The company plans to review pricing if oil prices dip below the hundred dollar mark.
