National Petrochemical Public Company Limited (NPC) is making joint investment with PTT Public Company Limited (PTT) to establish the PTT PE Company Limited (PTTPE) with an aim to implement the Ethane Cracker Project and LDPE Project at a production capacity of 410,000 tpa and 300,000 tpa respectively. The investment ratio is 50:50. The total project cost approximates to $ 444 mn.
NPC is thereby expanding the production capacity from 410,000 tpa to 1,000,000 tpa with an aim to serve a higher demand on product The production capacity of the LDPE Plant still remains the same at 300,000 tpa. The total project cost is increased to $ 761 mn.
