Offers hiked for July shipment of LDPE and HDPE

PE offers for July shipment by Formosa Plastics have seen twenty dollars per ton hike - at US$1,375/mt CFR CMP for HDPE film grade and at US$1,355/mt CFR CMP for LLDPE. However, Chinese buyers have adopted a wait and watch policy in the wake of falling ethylene prices, making it difficult to sell HDPE cargoes above USD1,350/mt CFR China. A Singapore based HDPE producer has, this week, opened official July offers thirty dollars higher than June offers at US$1,350-1,360/mt CFR China for film grade and at USD1,320-,330/mt CFR China for blow-molding grade. A Japanese supplier has offered LLDPE lots for July shipment at USD1,320-1,330/mt CFR China. In China, S.Korean HDPE film grade was offered at USD1,360/mt BWT, but middle east HDPE film grade was offered at USD1,340/mt BWT.
