Oil prices push back below US$40 a barrel as persistent worries of a supply glut

U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude dipped to US$39.5 a barrel, while International Brent crude oil futures fell to US$41.8. The more than 1% fall amid persistent worries of a glut offset the impact of a weak dollar that initially propped the market.
