Oil prices rise on nuclear tensions

Oil prices rose on Friday to US$66.4 a barrel on the NYMEX, while in London, Brent crude rose to US$65.41. This rise was supported by evidence of improving consumer sentiment and heightened tension around Iran's nuclear program. US President Barack Obama and other Western leaders accused Iran of building a secret nuclear fuel plant and demanded that it immediately halt what he called a 'direct challenge' to the international community.
