ONGC's petrochemical complex to be ready in Q1-2015

ONGC Petro Additions Ltd (OPAL)'s $4 billion integrated petrochemical complex in Dahej (having capacity to produce 1.1 million tonne of ethylene and 400,000 tonne of propylene) is scheduled to be commissioned in the first quarter of 2015. "This complex, located in Dahej Special Economic Zone (D-SEZ), is one of the largest of its kind in the country," OPAL Chief Executive Officer K Satyanarayan told PTI. The complex will consist of a dual feed cracker unit and associated facilities with a capacity to produce 1.1 million tonne of ethylene and 400,000 tonne of propylene annually," he said.
