The Shaw Group has been awarded a contract by Petkim Petrochemical Holding AS to provide engineering and procurement services and additional study work for expansion of an ethylene plant in Aliaga, Turkey by 10%. The original 300,000 tpa plant was built in 1986 by Shaw that also performed basic engineering for an earlier capacity increase to 520,000 tpa in 1999.
