Petrochem MOU inked between Oil Search, Papua New Guinea govt, Itochu, Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Co

Oil Search has inked an MOU with the Papua New Guinea government, Itochu and Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Co to update a study on the feasibility of a petrochemical project in Papua New Guinea. The companies will work together and co-ordinate with the govt., to investigate all aspects of the development of a petrochemical industry and the associated benefits to the parties and PNG based on current economic conditions.
