State Chief Minister has urged national oil company Petronas will develop Sabah as the next oil, gas and petrochemical industrial hub in the region. Sabah is a Malaysian state located on the northern portion of the island of Borneo. It is the second largest state in Malaysia. This possible development is being compared with the erstwhile development of Kertih in Terengganu that was once a fishing village but now a vibrant oil and gas industrial centre as well as Bintulu and Miri.
