Milacron Inc. recently announced opening of its Queretaro, Mexico operation as the Milacron Plastics Technology Center to offer local and expanded services to its customers in Mexico. The service center clubs together Milacron's Uniloy, Extrusion, Ferromatik, U.S. Injection Machinery, SERVTEK and Cimcool businesses all under one roof for optimal efficiencies. The new facility will serve as the Mexico center for all local service, parts and manufacturing needs and will be the support base for the extensive sales, service and technical support network.
Service offerings include the rebuild, retrofit and remanufacture of processing machines. This will make it easier for customers in the region to have their equipment serviced or upgraded quickly and cost effectively. Previously, Milacron's several businesses operated out of a smaller technical center in Mexico City facilitating sales, technical service, support and training.
