Pipelife Sweden, a part of Pipelife, one of Europe's leading providers of piping solutions, recently upgraded their production line in Ölsremma (Sweden) which allows achieving an even more constant quality of the pipes. This positive development directly affects the Pipelife Infra System which is manufactured on this line. The PP ID 600 double wall pipe is the largest one within the entire Infra series and with a ring stiffness of SN8 the product is now available in the dimensions from 140mm up to 600mm.
The Infra pipe system mainly consists of stormwater and road construction pipes with or without socket but it can also be used as a sewage pipe. Additionally the pipes can be used as the base for a flexible road construction chamber. In the previous years Infra was produced from the raw material PE but since end of last year Pipelife Sweden manufactures the pipes in Polypropylene (PP) with a new profile. The main advantage is the increased quality and the therefore the improved competitiveness. Infra is tested by SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden according to EN 13476 and marked with Nordic Poly Mark. Pipelife is a joint venture between Solvay (Belgium) and Wienerberger (Austria).
