The management and supervisory boards of Poland's top refiner PKN Orlen has approved the company to invest about 400 mln zlotys (US$101.24 mln) in buidling a metathesis installation at its production plant in the city of Plock. The new installation will allow PKN to boost its production of propylene by 100,000 tons to 550,000 tpa, as per Reuters.
