Planned maintenance shutdown by Saudi Industrial Investment Group to affect production of benzene, cyclohexane, motor gasoline

With effect from October 1, 2011, The Saudi Industrial Investment Group (SIIG) plans to shut some of its production units at Jubail. This 30 day shutdown is a previously planned shutdown for regular maintenance work, and will require stopping production of benzene, cyclohexane, and motor gasoline. Production of styrene and propylene will continue.
