Plastics Manufacturing Ireland, the exhibition planned to be hosted by Dublin on 25th & 26th March, 2009 has been called-off citing "very difficult trading conditions, specifically in the Republic of Ireland" as the reason. As per the sources, the inadequate advance payments from the exhibitors lead to a situation where organizers faced a cash crunch for venue and for hospitality obligations.
