Polypropylene producers in India have reduced offers in the domestic market for the third time in August while extending a new price protection scheme for customers until August 31, citing weak demand, as per industry sources in Platts. CFR South Asia PP raffia marker fell by US$60/mt on the week to US$1035/mt on Wednesday, as abundant supplies from the Middle East and flat demand from China weighed on then India domestic market.
