PSUs to invest Rs 63,348 cr in refining and petrochem in the next five years

Public sector oil companies have drawn up a plan to invest Rs 63,348 crore in the downstream refining and petrochemicals businesses in the next five years. Rs 11,046 crore has been allotted to the oil companies for diversifying into the petrochemicals sector Rs 24,472 crore has been allocated for setting up new refineries Rs 10,763 crore is to be invested for expansion and modernisation of the existing facilities
