Many Asian manufacturers of PVC/VCM have reduced running rates of their plants on account of poor production margins. Taiwan's Formosa plans to reduce PVC exports for February shipment by less than 30,000mt. PVC prices in China remained flat despite a sharp gain in overseas prices in January and February.
February deals for VCM have not been completed yet due to low bids from Chinese buyers although small deals were done at between USD670~680/mt CFR China.
