In a move to integrate operations of IPCL, Reliance Industries plans to merge a handful of its polyester fibre companies with its petrochemicals arm Indian Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd (IPCL),
The finished products of IPCL will be used as raw materials for these companies, ensuring better functioning and returns. The companies that would be brought under IPCL could include India Polyfibres, Silvassa Polyfibres and Recron Synthetics.
