Rosti Technical Plastics plans to launch new plant in India in August

In a move that will reinforce its commitment to the growing Asian region, injection moulder Rosti Technical Plastics plans to open a new plant in India as early as August this year. The Danish company has established an Indian counterpart -Rosti Technical Plastics India to meet growing customer demand. The Indian arm has inked a 3 year lease on a purpose-built, 28,000 sq ft facility in the Poonamalee district of Chennai, to concentrate on production for the business machines market. As an initial investment, the molder will use injection moulding machines ranging from 50 to 300 tons, targeting to put 18 machines into operation by the end of 2009. At it's 2 facilities at Suzhou in China, the company moulds modules for ATM machines and other business machines, along with products for customers in the automotive, IT and other sectors.
